Kasse Initiatives offers the current SEI assessment method -Standard CMMI Assessment Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI).
SCAMPI – Standard CMMI Assessment Method for Process Improvement.
The Class A assessment method offered by the SEI to help an organization gain insight into its process capability or organizational maturity by identifying strengths and weaknesses of its current processes relative to one of more of the CMMI Model Representations.
CMMI-based Action Focused Assessment applicable to assessments based on the SEI’s CMMI utilizing either the Staged or Continuous Representation. KI also is able to combine both model representations to support an organization’s need for assessment and process improvement. This is called the Constagedeous approach. The CMMI-based AFA continues to
focus strongly on Action Planning with involvement from all levels of management and practitioners.
The Kasse Initiatives' Action Focused Assessment evolved from the SEI's Software Process Assessments, and is based on the CMMI and standards such as ISO 9000 and BOOTSTRAP. It was influenced by clients such as Siemens, Alcatel, and ING Groep. It is based heavily on the belief that if an organization wants successful process improvement it must have the cooperation of all levels of management and the practitioners. The Action Focused Assessment does what its name suggests - it focuses on action!! It works toward solution to the organization's problems and does not just present the process problems that confront the organization.
